Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Lower Back.
Results typically last three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycle, skin type, and aftercare. Regular waxing can lead to finer regrowth and longer intervals between appointments. Individual experiences vary, so consult your technician for personalized timing.
Some sensation is normal, but pain is usually brief and manageable. We use heated wax, expert technique, and pre/post care to minimize discomfort. Take ibuprofen beforehand if needed, and communicate with your technician for adjustments.
Ensure hair is about quarter-inch long, exfoliate gently 48 hours prior, avoid heavy sun exposure and tanning, and arrive clean and moisturized. Avoid lotions or oils on the day. Inform us of medications or sensitivities.
Keep the area clean and dry, avoid hot baths, saunas and intense workouts for 24-48 hours. Use a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer and avoid exfoliation for two days. Apply aloe or calming lotions for any redness.
Waxing can lead to ingrown hairs, especially without proper care. Prevent them by exfoliating gently after 48 hours, moisturizing, wearing loose clothing, and scheduling regular appointments. Professional extraction and topical treatments can address persistent ingrowns.
Avoid waxing if you have sunburn, open wounds, severe skin conditions, recent chemical peels, or are on blood-thinning medications without medical clearance. Pregnant clients should consult their physician if concerned. Our technicians will review contraindications before treatment.
