Discomfort is usually minimal; you may feel brief stinging during hair removal. Our therapists use gentle techniques, temperature-tested wax, and calming aftercare to reduce pain. Communicate sensitivity levels so we can adjust pressure and method for maximum comfort.
Most clients enjoy smooth, hair-free ears for three to six weeks. Regrowth varies by individual and hair cycle; repeated waxing often slows regrowth and softens hair, extending the time between appointments.
If you have sensitive skin or mild conditions, we can perform a patch test and use gentler products. Active infections, open wounds, recent ear surgery, or severe dermatological issues may prevent waxing—please disclose medical history before booking.
Avoid heavy touching, hot baths, saunas, and swimming for 24 hours. Apply any provided soothing gel as directed, avoid harsh exfoliation for a few days, and keep the area clean to prevent irritation or infection.
Do not shave before an Ears Wax appointment; waxing requires hair at least a few millimetres long for proper removal. If you've recently shaved, wait until regrowth before booking or consult us for timing recommendations.
