Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about FULL COLOR.

A FULL COLOR service generally takes 2 to 3 hours, including consultation, application, processing and styling. Time varies by hair length, density and required color correction; more complex transformations may take longer or require multiple sessions for best results.

Most FULL COLOR applications can cover gray hair effectively, especially with permanent color formulas. Coverage depends on gray percentage and hair porosity; your stylist will choose a suitable developer strength and formulation to maximize gray coverage and longevity.

If bleaching was recent, we typically recommend waiting at least two weeks before a full color service to allow the hair to recover. Deep conditioning or bond-repair treatments may be advised beforehand to ensure an even, healthy color result.

Use sulfate-free, color-safe shampoo and conditioner, wash with cool water, minimize heat styling, and apply a UV and heat protectant. Schedule recommended touch-ups and salon conditioning treatments to maintain vibrancy and hair health between appointments.

Minor shade adjustments are often possible during the appointment after a thorough consultation. Significant changes or lightening may require additional processing, a different technique or another visit to protect hair integrity and achieve the desired result safely.

Root touch-ups are commonly recommended every 4–6 weeks, while full color refreshes for overall vibrancy are often scheduled every 6–12 weeks. Frequency depends on growth rate, contrast and your desired level of upkeep; your stylist will customize a plan.
