Most appointments last 45 minutes to an hour, including consultation, professional scrubbing, extractions, mask and hydration. Time varies with skin congestion and whether extractions are needed; we'll advise during booking for accurate scheduling.

Yes, with a tailored approach. We perform skin assessments and adjust exfoliant strength, techniques, and extractions. For severely inflamed acne or active skin infections we may recommend medical consultation first, or modify treatment to avoid irritation.

For maintenance we suggest every four to six weeks to manage congestion and maintain clarity. More frequent sessions may be recommended initially for severe congestion; your therapist will create a personalized schedule based on skin condition and goals.

Some clients experience mild flaking or temporary dryness, especially a few days after treatment. We use hydrating masks and post-care products to minimize peeling and provide homecare instructions; more aggressive exfoliation increases chance of flaking.

We advise avoiding significant sun exposure immediately before or after exfoliation. Sunburned skin is not suitable; post-treatment skin is more sensitive. Wait at least 48 hours after sun exposure or until skin is fully healed, and use SPF to protect treated areas.

We cannot treat open wounds, active infections, severe cystic acne, recent chemical peels, or clients on isotretinoin without medical clearance. Inform us of medications, recent treatments, or health conditions during consultation to ensure safety and appropriate modification.
